I wish a name really would’ve taken a bat to Steinbrenner’s head before he croaked! Fucking asshole!
Ha ha that was amusing babe ruth made the hindenburg crash and burn. With one of
his knock it out the park home run baseballs. After getting his following wind from downing lipton brisk ice tea
@MrBradman3000 back then they didnt wear helmets
I like how he smokes the dude with his bat and he bounces around the dugout
Why isn’t babe ruth wharing a helmet.
Ruth looks like a frog when he chugs the tea
“Martin all he is doing is sweating i am not sweat and i am in a turtle neck, your fired” LOL
I like that organ.
@ChistaEnjoi it was a joke
@CutThroat192 no its not dumby
and that’s how the Hindenburg REALLY happened
@bradleyjstevens It could be worse: It took me about 50 viewings of this commercial before I realized that WAS Mickey. Granted, I’m not ancient enough to have seen him play, but I should still have recognized a young Mickey in black-and-white from all persons film clips! Still my favorite TV commercial of all time.
Never noticed that Mickey has ice packs on his knees when this first came on.
Err… I was out all night…
epic.
@hemi57 that was for 1970 I believe, not for all time
outstanding song and routine
Unfortunately the video effects blew off the presentation.
But other than that… Wow!
that is music my friends!!!
it seems that product was too cheap in the 70
I used to hang out with Jenny Haan and Dave Hewitt at the Builders Club, Wood st, Huddersfield in the early 70s
jenny and janis what else?
The voices herselfs.
I respect talent and creative means of filling a niche, which Babe Ruth may have done but, to claim Jenny Haan as the best female rock vocal is, in my opinion, unwarranted given talent such as the Wilson sisters of Heart. Jenny cannot hold a candle to Ann Wilson when it comes to rock vocals. The proof is in longevity…Heart is still blowing crowds away!!!!
merci!
wow! I never saw them, but I wish. It just rocks!!! What a show!!! I also like the song “Black Dog”; Jenny’s voice is so deep and powerful… the album “First Base” is a masterwork of his kind. Thanks, thats a home run in deep right field!!
One of the best cult bands from the early 70′s. Saw them several times at a lock rock club in Halifax (UK). Also saw them at Leeds University. Jenny singing “give me some leg” was a sight to behold. But “Black Dog” was always my favourite song. Jesse Winchesters original was quite haunting, but Babe Ruth lifted it to new heights. Still have their first two albums on vynyl, as well as CD. Still listening to their music 40 years on. Rock on Janita……we still like you.
I have allways loved this band, but never sen them alive. Thanks.
@PortDalhousie Me too reckon its worth much
same as blewsyboy
thnx a lot!!
Seen them in Quebec city 1974.
One of the best show I’ve seen
@spareaxe are you kidding me they are fuckin worshipped by bboys (for some reason). You’re an ignorant troll, and this video kicks harder then an expert thai kickboxer.
BETTER THEN THE ROLLING STONES!!
Jenny Haan…small package, lots of firepower!! Getting her grooove on! I’m in like. That first Babe Ruth LP is something special.
No wonder no one’s ever heard of these morons.
The music’s alright to me, but her…..I like the hair in the face. She’s awesome!
cos zajebistego… brak slow..
One of the most under-rated bands of the 70′s, still have a original vinyl copy of this album…
She’s Hot………………!!!
that was the better ”black dog” ever…..viva BABE RUTH…..LIKEEEEEEEEEEEEE
